2023 was a year of consolidation and internal strengthening for the Renera Group (formerly Energie Zukunft Schweiz and Sunwin). Our business areas of biomethane trading, CO₂ trading and the development of ground-mounted solar and battery storage systems in Italy also achieved strong growth.
Renera Energy partners with Eku Energy to develop over 1GW battery storage projects in Italy.
Milano / Basel. The European consulting, trading and development group, Renera Energy, has entered into a partnership with Eku Energy, a leading developer of energy storage solutions. Through a Framework Agreement on June 28, 2023, Eku Energy has secured exclusivity over 1GW of battery storage projects in Italy.
Biomethane Purchase Agreement secures volumes until 2038 for Energie Thun AGs clients.
Energie Thun AG has secured long-term biomethane volumes for its customers with a 15-year purchase agreement. The option of physically delivering the gas to Switzerland is open for the future.
Energie Zukunft Schweiz lays foundation for the international Renera Group
The development, trading and consulting company Energie Zukunft Schweiz AG is merging its subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, Spain and Romania into a strong group of companies under the new name “Renera”. The name Renera embodies the idea of a turning point, the transition to the era of renewable energies (renewable era).
