Together with Renera, Methagora successfully achieves its innovative virtual pipeline concept for the first time.
Methagora and Renera proudly announce that the innovative virtual pipeline concept is being implemented for the first time in France. This milestone was made possible thanks to the long-term Biomethane Purchase Agreement (BPA) between the two companies.

Renera enters the biomethane market in Italy with 1TWh long-term offtake contracts.
Renera is proud to announce the successful start of two 10 year physical delivery contracts with Italian biogas plants. These projects mark Renera’s first long-term biomethane purchase agreements (BPA) in Italy, contributing to its growing pan-European portfolio.

Renera Group Review 2023
2023 was a year of consolidation and internal strengthening for the Renera Group (formerly Energie Zukunft Schweiz and Sunwin). Our business areas of biomethane trading, CO₂ trading and the development of ground-mounted solar and battery storage systems in Italy also achieved strong growth.

Renera Energy partners with Eku Energy to develop over 1GW battery storage projects in Italy.
Milano / Basel. The European consulting, trading and development group, Renera Energy, has entered into a partnership with Eku Energy, a leading developer of energy storage solutions. Through a Framework Agreement on June 28, 2023, Eku Energy has secured exclusivity over 1GW of battery storage projects in Italy.

Biomethane Purchase Agreement secures volumes until 2038 for Energie Thun AGs clients.
Energie Thun AG has secured long-term biomethane volumes for its customers with a 15-year purchase agreement. The option of physically delivering the gas to Switzerland is open for the future.

Renera Trading AG – Latest spin-off of Energie Zukunft Schweiz AG
Energie Zukunft Schweiz AG (EZS) is spinning off its electricity and biogas trading business into a 100% subsidiary. Under the name Renera Trading AG, this will become part of the newly formed, internationally oriented Renera Group. EZS reorganizes its subsidiaries under the name “Renera”, in reference to the dawning of the renewable era.
